Bankura Sammilani Medical College is one of the Prestigious Medical colleges in the Indian state of West Bengal. It Was established in the year 1956 by Bankura Sammilani Trust as a part of the Swaraj movement against British rule. The college was taken over by the Government of West Bengal in 1961. The College is popularly known as BSMC Bankura.
